A Hunter’s Permits is only issued for vehicles that were previously registered in Indiana or for newly-purchased vehicles to allow an owner-operator to travel at the unladen weight, in search of employment. The Hunter’s Permit is for use by the owner and operator of the vehicle. Hunter’s Permits are $10 and valid for a period of thirty consecutive calendar days and for only one combination of vehicles.
